Escape From Saigon: A Graphic Novella
In 2014, American Experience premiered the Oscar-nominated documentary Last Days in Vietnam. Among the many acts of heroism featured in that film, the story of the Nguyen family's escape from Saigon was an audience favorite. So we decided to give it a graphic novel treatment. This project was featured in the New York Times's Vietnam '67 newsletter, as well as on the New York Times website.
